Empower Her Success, Inc. was not born in a boardroom. It was born in a home, a home filled with love, sacrifice, and the belief that every young woman deserves a family that shows up for her.

The Inspiration
A grandmother's love that started it all
Founded with love in Los Angeles
The founder of Empower Her Success grew up watching her mother open her home to young women in foster care. Her mother a woman of extraordinary compassion, fostered three young girls, raising them alongside her own grandchildren with the same love, discipline, and belief in their futures.
Watching those young women grow up, graduate, and step into their own lives left a permanent mark. It showed what was possible when someone simply refused to give up on a young woman, when someone said you belong here. You are loved. You can do this.
That grandmother's love became the blueprint. Empower Her Success, Inc. was founded to take that same spirit — that same refusal to let a young woman fall through the cracks — and build it into an organization that can reach more women, in more places, with more resources.
We are brand new. We are small. And we are completely serious about what we are building. Because Yamayah, our very first participant is counting on us. And so are all the young women who will come after her.
"My mother showed me what it looks like to love someone else's child like your own. That's what we're doing here."

To empower young women ages 17–24 who are aging out of or have aged out of the foster care system by providing housing support, life skills education, career mentorship, and a community of sisterhood , so that every woman has the foundation she needs to build a stable, fulfilling, and self-determined life.
A world where no young woman leaves foster care without a plan, a community, and the confidence to pursue her dreams. We envision a Los Angeles and eventually a nation where the foster care system is not the end of a young woman's story, but the beginning of her most powerful chapter.
We serve young women ages 17–24 who are currently in foster care, aging out of the system, or who have recently aged out and are navigating early adulthood without a family safety net. Our programs are completely free of charge to every woman we serve. We are based in Los Angeles, California.
Every young woman who walks through our doors is met with the same love a mother gives — no conditions, no judgment, no expiration date.
We believe every woman deserves a safe foundation. Housing stability, emotional security, and a consistent support system are non-negotiable.
No one should have to figure out adulthood alone. We build a village — a community of women who lift each other up and refuse to let anyone fall behind.
Foster care too often strips young women of their voice. We give it back. Every woman is treated with the dignity and respect she has always deserved.
We don't just talk about change — we create it. Real tools, real mentors, real resources that move young women from surviving to thriving.
Like the butterfly that is our symbol, we believe every young woman carries within her the capacity for profound, beautiful transformation.
The butterfly is our symbol because it tells the truth about transformation. A caterpillar doesn't become a butterfly overnight — it goes through a process that is dark, uncomfortable, and uncertain. But inside that struggle, something extraordinary is happening.
That is the story of every young woman in foster care. The struggle is real. But so is the transformation. And we are here to make sure she has everything she needs to emerge — and fly.
Whether you donate, volunteer, or simply share our mission — you become part of the village that makes transformation possible.
